First Chemo Treatment

Well........Last Monday I started my first chemotherapy treatment. To tell you the truth most of it was a blur. I remember going into the hospital Monday morning really really early, once there they prepped me to put in the port. After I woke up from the "surgery," They admitted me to the hospital and started chemo. After that like I said was a big blur. I came home Thursday and was feeling REALLY ICKY, from stomach pain to muscle pain and much more. I felt bad for about three days. One night I had just one of those nights where every thing was just falling apart, so I decided to pray and I just started to cry and I wasn't even sure why, (most likely just the whole situation in general) but the weirdest thing happened after I prayed it was like my total my mind set changed I just felt content with every thing. It was amazing. I knew at that moment God was in the room, and I was just so happy I couldn't sleep Because I didn't want it to end. It was the weirdest and coolest thing ever. God is the BEST comforter ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so once again thank you for the love and support.

  1. Dear Megan,
I don't know if you even remember me, but your family opened your home to a friend and me for the Teen Conference last January (I told you silly girls to be quiet at 2 in the morning...lol!!!). I just found out that you had cancer and found this blog on your sister's facebook page. Please know that my husband and I are praying for you. I am so blessed to know of such a wonderful young lady who puts her whole life into god's hands and trusts Him with the results. You have a very special faith and strength. God will be able to work mightliy through you, your testimony, and even your cancer. You will be able to reach and help so many people, as you are already doing. Keep on going, Megan!
    With love and prayers,

  2. Megan, just heard about you and your situation this morning from a fellow-stamper, Shannon Harrison. Thought I'd check in on your site and see what's up. I'm so glad you know our Savior, Jesus, and glad to see you are praying to him daily. He will definitely give you that peace that ONLY HE can give us. And I'm glad HE did for you. It's so easy to cry when we are in pain, but JESUS sometimes will have us cry to - I'm thankful HE was able to give you that peace that passes ALL understanding. Shannon has asked for cards for you - so I'll be sending one out to you today, 12/1; may it arrive to you in a few days. My prayers are going up for you; and may you keep GOD's peace throughout your treatments. Love to you little friend.

  3. Megan, I know you don't know me. Mrs. Lee Marshall, Br. Matt Marshall's Mom, and also Mrs. Laura Meyers, told me about you, so I have been praying for you since October. I'm praying you will be able to walk soon.

    God bless.
    Raych
